PlantMix Privacy Policy

Overview

PlantMix is a mobile app that helps you design, optimize, and save custom plant soil mix recipes. It is published by Brydon Creative ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information. PlantMix does not require an account or sign-in, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not send your data to our servers.

Data stored on your device

The app stores data locally on your device using a private on-device database. This data never leaves your device unless you back up your phone through your own account or device settings. Locally stored data may include:

• Saved soil mix recipes, including ingredient selections, proportions, and mix names
• Notes you add to saved mixes
• Wizard inputs used to generate mixes, such as pot size, growing conditions, and plant archetype

You can remove this data by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

Amazon links

PlantMix may show optional "Buy on Amazon" links for ingredients. If you tap one of these links, the app opens Amazon in your browser. We do not receive your personal information from Amazon, but Amazon may collect information according to its own privacy policy. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you.

You are never required to use these links, and the app works fully without visiting Amazon.

Third parties

We do not share your information with third parties. The app does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social login services. The only third-party interaction is the optional Amazon links described above, which you choose to open yourself.

Children's privacy

PlantMix is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
